How to solve Tango: 5 tips

1. Break every pair

Two suns side by side must have a moon on each open end. The same goes for two moons.

2. Fill the gap

A sun, an empty cell and a sun in a line force a moon into the gap, because three suns would touch.

3. Count to finish a line

When a row already has all the suns it can hold, every empty cell left in it is a moon.

4. Follow the signs

An = or × sign links two cells. As soon as one is known, the other is too, and the result often starts a chain.

5. Use the edges

Signs and pairs near the edge of the board leave fewer options, so they are good places to start.
