Pocket Words is a word solitaire and daily word puzzle game. We do not collect, share or sell personal information ourselves. Ads are served by Google AdMob as described below.

What the game stores

Your level, an unfinished game, daily puzzle progress, your streak and settings are saved on your device. No account or registration is needed. The word lists are part of the app and need no internet connection.

If Android backup is on for your Google account, Android may include this progress in your device backup so a new phone or a reinstall keeps it. That backup is handled by Google; we cannot see it.

Ads

• The game shows a banner below the table, a full-screen ad now and then between levels (never during one), and optional videos you can choose to watch for extra moves or hints.
• Ads come from Google AdMob. To show and count ads, AdMob receives technical data such as the device model, operating system, app version, the advertising ID and an approximate location from the IP address. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
• Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK), the game asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.
• No analytics or tracking of our own.

Remove ads (one-time purchase)

You can remove ads with a one-time purchase through Google Play. Google handles the payment; we never see payment details. The purchase can be restored in Settings.

Children

Pocket Words is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
